The 888 Holdings group has finalized its purchase of William Hill’s global businesses, bringing both the William Hill and Mr Green brands into its already substantial stable.
To facilitate a seamless integration, 888 has revealed a reorganization of its executive team. William Hill’s Chief Executive, Ulrik Bengtsson, recently departed, marking the start of these shifts. 888’s Chief Financial Officer, Eric Hageman, will also be exiting the organization.
Nevertheless, some recognizable figures from William Hill will persist. Mark Skinner, who joined William Hill in 2021 as Chief Human Resources Officer, will remain in this capacity. Satty Bhens, William Hill’s Chief Product and Technology Officer since 2019, will also continue.
The enlarged 888 group will be helmed by Itai Pazner, 888’s present Chief Executive, backed by a robust team encompassing Yariv Dafna as Chief Financial Officer and Guy Cohen as Chief Operating Officer.
Moving forward, 888 will commence reporting its financial results in pounds sterling, with interim figures anticipated in August.
Itai Pazner conveyed his excitement, remarking, “I am pleased to declare the culmination of our transformative merger with William Hill.”
Weve assembled a formidable leadership group, merging the top talent from both organizations. As we move forward, we’re strategically positioned for success – our unified product and content dominance, powered by exclusive technology and internationally acclaimed brands, establishes a remarkably solid base for expansion.
“I’d like to express my gratitude to Ulrik and Erik for their contributions to William Hill and extend my best wishes for their future pursuits.”
