Aldi Supermarkets to Sell Lottery Tickets Nationwide

The well-known grocery retailer, Aldi, is joining forces with the UK National Lottery’s manager, Camelot, to make lottery tickets available in all 900 of their UK locations.

Beginning in the following month, customers can purchase lottery tickets conveniently at the checkout lane while completing their regular Aldi shopping. The selection will include popular games such as Lotto, EuroMillions, Set For Life, and Thunderball.

This expansion comes after a successful trial period of lottery sales in Aldi stores throughout northern England.

Richard Thornton, Aldi UK’s Communications Director, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating that it provides their shoppers with an easy way to test their luck while doing their everyday grocery run. He hopes to spread a bit of that winning spirit nationwide.

Camelot’s Retail Director, Jenny Blogg, shared similar feelings, emphasizing how this partnership increases the National Lottery’s accessibility to the public. They are confident that Aldi customers will welcome this new offering and anticipate celebrating many more significant wins from tickets purchased at Aldi stores.
