## Gaming Giant Acquires NeoGames for $1.2 Billion
The Australian gaming landscape is abuzz following a significant acquisition! Shortly after Fanatics secured PointsBet’s American operations, industry leader Aristocrat revealed its purchase of NeoGames. This agreement, which values the multi-channel provider at an impressive $1.2 billion, will see each share acquired for $29.50.
NeoGames is no stranger to such transactions, having cultivated its own notable collection – featuring brands like Pariplay, BtoBet, and Aspire Global – through strategic buyouts. This strategy, combined with their varied offerings encompassing iGaming, sports wagering, lottery, and user management, has undoubtedly attracted the attention of industry powerhouses.
Aristocrat, known for its bold endeavors, had previously targeted Playtech in 2021. Although that specific deal dissolved in 2022, their desire for growth clearly persisted. Now, they’ve set their sights on NeoGames, a company that, despite posting a minor financial deficit in its latest quarterly statement, boasts robust revenue expansion and a bright outlook.
John E. Taylor, NeoGames’ Chairman, conveyed his excitement about the agreement, remarking, “The NeoGames collective has established a remarkable enterprise with a robust foundation and unique assets. We are delighted that Aristocrat acknowledges the worth we’ve generated as a frontrunner across iLottery, iGaming, and online sports wagering.”
NeoGames Chief Executive Officer, Moti Malul, conveyed deep satisfaction with the firm’s accomplishments, underscoring their dominance in iLottery, online gaming, and digital sports wagering. He stressed the strategic alignment and mutual goals with Aristocrat, contending the purchase will yield substantial advantages for stakeholders, customers, and personnel.
