A major player in the interactive entertainment industry, High Limit Gaming, is entering the Quebec Lottery market.

Stéphane Fraser, the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Gaming Venues at the Quebec Lottery Corporation, announced this significant collaboration. High Limit Gaming has received approval to introduce its Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) offerings to Quebec.

Prepare yourselves! Beginning in early summer 2024, you will start to notice High Limit’s VLT units and games appearing throughout the province. They are launching with a collection of 10 games, featuring captivating titles such as “Dancing Foo” and “Blazing Phoenix.” These games will be showcased on their cutting-edge MidKnight X cabinet, which is guaranteed to attract attention.

Kurt Gissane, the Chief Revenue Officer at High Limit Gaming, expressed his enthusiasm, “Expanding into the Quebec VLT market is a major accomplishment for us. It demonstrates our commitment to venturing into these new territories and delivering our premium games to fresh audiences. We are eager to commence operations in Quebec and cultivate a robust partnership with the Lottery Corporation.”

This announcement follows closely on the heels of High Limit’s recent debut of their NFL-themed slot machines in the United States, aptly named “NFL Super Bowl Jackpots.” These machines are loaded with football excitement and are part of a multi-year agreement between High Limit Gaming and the NFL.

Furthermore, High Limit Gaming, along with other industry giants like eBet, IGT, and Light & Wonder, has secured preliminary authorization to participate in an expanded cashless gaming pilot program in New South Wales, Australia. The gaming community is abuzz with High Limit’s strategic endeavors!

A trial program in New South Wales aims to observe gambler behavior with a cashless gaming system. Approximately 4,500 slot machines, known locally as “pokies,” are equipped with advanced technology for monitoring purposes. Oversight of this initiative rests with the state agency responsible for regulating gambling and alcohol.
